Rain will likely stick around through the weekend. Temperatures will be chilly too. Winds will begin to pick up tonight and last through the weekend. Fog will develop too as the rain cools down the atmosphere. Starting late Saturday light snow is possible heading into Sunday. Most of the snow looks to stick to the tip of the Arrowhead and south shore.
The U.P. of Michigan looks to see the most snow by the time the weekend is finished. As much as 6” of snow or more is possible during this period. Wind gusts Sunday may climb as high as 40-50 mph. So poorer visibility is likely in the U.P. of Michigan. Wetter weather will stick around through the beginning of the new workweek. Conditions look to improve with warmer weather and sunshine by the middle of next week.
