A fast moving area of low pressure will bring rain and snow to the Northland Saturday and Saturday evening. This looks to get started in the afternoon and may affect the afternoon deer hunt more than the early morning hunt Saturday. Mostly rain is expected over northwest Wisconsin, although some snow may occur as well at times. A better chance for light snow will occur over eastern Minnesota into the Arrowhead. Light snow accumulation is likely over the Arrowhead.

Another weaker system will bring more light precipitation to all of Northland Saturday night. Total snow through Saturday night will be less than inch for most but parts of the Arrowhead may receive 1 to around 2” of snow Saturday into Saturday. Winds will pick up intensity Sunday. Gusts could climb over 40 mph.
