Oktoberfestival takes over Bayfront Festival Park

Kern and Kompany, Marketing & Special Events kicked off Duluth Oktoberfestival Friday afternoon.

The opening ceremonies included the tapping of the golden keg at Bayfront Festival Park. Oktoberfestival runs through Sunday and offers a variety of activities for all ages. Musical lovers will get to hear some of the top musical acts in the world will converge at the event. Artists such as Gasper Krek, Frank Bucar, Kerry Christensen and more will be making appearances throughout the weekend.

The festival will also feature a bier tent at Bayfront Festival Park. Patrons will get to enjoy German Bier Hall Tables and Benches shipped in from Munich as authentic German foods.  Adult Games, Kids Activities, Dachshund Derby, Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Stein Holding Contests, Bavarian Vendors, Kids Inflatables and a Kinderplatz Kids Area will be running all throughout the weekend.
