Natalie Zeleznikar, the Republican incumbent legislator in Minnesota state house district 3b debated Mark Munger her DFL challenger Thursday June 13th.

The debate touched on divisive topics including the ERA bill, funding for schools, taxes, and the challenge of working across the aisle to move legislation forward.

“That’s what I’ve been doing in the minority party for the last two years is working across the aisle,” said Natalie Zeleznikar. “My goal was to work for the people for a common goal. A majority of people are in the middle, and working across the aisle wasn’t easy in one party rule but I still got things done.”

“We have a democratic senator who can work with other people, but he can’t work with the current representative,” said Mark Munger. “She doesn’t want to work with him. That makes it impossible to bring home those projects that the community wants needs and deserves.”
