Sabrina Ullman: Wonderful weekend ahead with temperatures peaking on Sunday

Tonight will have overnight lows in the upper 30s to low 40s and a light southwesterly breeze. The evening will begin mostly cloudy, but skies will clear by morning.
Our Friday will have mostly sunny skies and afternoon highs in the upper fifties to low sixties. Temperatures will continue to improve going into the weekend.
An easterly wind will keep temperatures cooler along the North Shore on Saturday, only reaching the low to mid-50s. Further inland, afternoon highs will be in the sixties. This week’s temperatures peak on Sunday with portions of the Northland warming to the low 70s.
All eyes turn to the skies Sunday night as a low-pressure system enters the region. Rain chances return in the evening, increasing overnight. Monday will be rainy and cooler- our high temperatures will be in the early morning. Starting Tuesday, we will be back to afternoon highs in the forties.
