One of the hardest-hit areas was along Bug Creek Road, just east of Cotton. A family farm lost several trees, a shed, and many shingles. Shayna and Phylesha Preston were at their grandfather’s farm Friday, helping clean up the mess left from the tornado.
“We spent a lot of time in this area here, even when my dad was a kid, building forts, hanging out with cousins,” said Shayna. “It’s just kind of really devastating to see it all just be gone.”
