The cooler conditions that settled into the Northland over the weekend will stick around today, then temps trend warmer in the week ahead. Our Monday features a breezy northwest wind, a mix of clouds and sun, and a low chance for a passing shower. Highs range from mid-60s to low 70s. Tonight will remain on the cool side with lows in mid-40s to low 50s under partly cloudy skies. Warmer air moves into the region from the south on Tuesday with highs in low 80s to low 70s. We stay generally dry with more sun than clouds.
Widespread shower and thunderstorm chances return from the west Tuesday night and linger for a wet Wednesday. Some storms may be severe. The responsible weather system exits to the east on Thursday, but a low chance for showers will linger. We end the week with a sunny and seasonable Friday. Typical July heat sticks around through the weekend with generally dry weather cooperating with outdoor plans. As of this morning, Saturday has a low chance for showers and thunderstorms.
