Brandon Weatherz: Cooler and more comfortable

A passing cold front has paved the way for a breezy, cooler, and more comfortable day. A stray shower is possible, but widespread rain moves southeast of the Northland today. We start the day a bit sticky with dew points still in the 60s in Wisconsin, but dry air takes over through the day with dew points falling to mid-40s and mid-50s by this evening. Highs stay in mid-60s to mid-70s under partly sunny skies.
Tonight will be a touch chilly under few clouds with most areas falling into the 40s and the typical cold pockets dipping into upper 30s. We return to low to mid-70s on Thursday with mostly sunny skies. We look north on Friday for shower and thunderstorm chances to return with our next cold front. This will bring widespread rain chances Friday night. Additional rain Saturday now looks to stay mostly south of Lake Superior, then Sunday brings another round of shower and thunderstorm chances to northern Minnesota. Temps will be relatively close to average through the weekend.
