July ends with wind gusts over 40 mph
Moose Lake and the Duluth International Airport had the highest reported wind gusts Wednesday (WDIO).
A strong line of thunderstorms formed Wednesday afternoon. Damaging winds were the main problem caused by these storms, with many trees being knocked down and thousands without power. Here are the wind gusts over 40 mph, as reported to the National Weather Service-Duluth.
