Justin Liles: A milder weekend!

November 17th: Milder weekend

Milder weekend

High pressure is going to be well in control through the weekend. This means we’ll see plenty of sunshine. Saturday is looking to be the nicest day of the weekend. Temperatures are likely going to be in the mid to upper 40s and possibly lower 50s farther to the south. By Sunday the temperatures wont drop to much as we’re still going to be above average.

It will be a touch breezy this weekend but nothing like the past couple of days. Our weather will eventually start to shift a bit of cold air moves in the region. A large low passing through Canada will impact us all through the next week and into the Thanksgiving holiday. Starting late Monday wind will be out of the northwest and bring with it some light rain that may turn over into snow.

Because winds are out of the Northwest some lake effect snow is possible along the south shore and U.P. of Michigan from Monday night though Thursday. It won’t be a lot of snow but could be enough to make for some slick roads in these areas. Highs by the middle to end of next week will see highs in the upper teens to lower 20s.
