Thunderstorms are one of the main concerns over the next couple days, the other concern includes the hot temps. Wildfire smoke from Canada will linger over the area today, but most areas will clear this evening. Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible in portions of northeast Minnesota Tuesday late afternoon through the evening, with the main threat from 5 to 9 PM. Potential hazards include damaging wind gusts to 60 mph and hail to 1 inch in diameter.

Wednesday and Thursday will be the warmest days this week, with widespread upper 80s and 90s. This will be accompanied by elevated dewpoints in the 60s and potentially even 70s, creating muggy conditions. Make sure to limit time outdoors during peak heating, stay hydrated, and always check vehicles for children and pets.
