Justin Liles: Much cooler the rest of the week

Temperatures have really cooled down in the last 24 hours following last night severe weather. Overcast skies will continue through the evening and maybe ever a little fog is possible. Cooler weather will remain in place as surface high pressure pushes into western Ontario and the Northland Thursday. Cloud cover will gradually decrease from west to east throughout the day as winds turn light. High temperatures to once again be below average, ranging from the upper-60s over central/north-central Minnesota to upper-50s over north-central Wisconsin.
The coldest portion of the airmass will occur Thursday night into early Friday morning, with the potential for patchy frost across NW Wisconsin and the Iron Range/Minnesota Arrowhead. Skies will clear out some then so dropping the temperatures in these areas looks likely. Late in the weekend there is another chance for some light rain, but temperatures will remain cooler than average.
