Justin Liles: Nice Northland weekend

Conditions will improve for the weekend as temperatures climb into the 20s with more sunshine. Another Colorado low will work its way toward the region late Sunday into Monday. The big story with this next wave will be whether we see freezing rain and how much. As of now most of the freezing rain looks to stay to our south.
Colder air will eventually turn the rain/freezing rain over to snow. The most difficult part of this storm is when this transition will take over. A sooner transition means more snow, a slower transition means less snow but more freezing rain. Travel will likely be difficult come Monday afternoon and evening. Another round of light snow is possible Wednesday.
