March 27th: Snow weakens tonight

Snow weakens tonight

Widespread moderate snowfall ends this evening, with numerous snow showers persisting tonight into Wednesday night for east-central Minnesota. Northwesterly winds become westerly tonight and remain breezy into Wednesday for all the Northland.

Very cool temperatures in the 20s are expected Wednesday and by Thursday temperatures will be in the low to mid-30s, but still below normal for late March. A few inches of snowfall are possible along and north of US Highway 2 in the Northland Friday night. Normal temperatures in the upper-30s this weekend giveaway to the third possible round of precipitation Sunday night into Monday night. Most of it looks to stay to the south.
