Justin Liles: Temperatures getting warmer
Weather conditions will remain quiet the rest of the week. If you are one of the communities who received a little snow recently don’t expect it to stay around long. The U.P. of Michigan may hold on to some snow but even along the snow belt it’s likely to melt.
Temperatures will increase the rest of the weekend and into the weekend. Overcast skies will likely hang around through Christmas. Southerly winds will continue to pump in warmer weather as we get toward the end of the week.
By this weekend there is a chance of rain early Friday and then again on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Temperatures will likely be in the upper 30s to lower 40s Friday through Monday. This year the holiday travel looks wet but instead of snow it will be rain and fog.
