Our Thursday begins with chilly temps as low as minus teens in the cool pockets of northern Minnesota. Meanwhile, eastern communities like Ironwood start off in teens above zero with lake effect clouds and light snow lingering. It shapes up to be a quiet day with highs in mid-20s to lows 30s under partly sunny skies. Warmer air begins to move into the region tonight, leading to patchy fog overnight into Friday morning. Lows stay in the teens, then we rise to the 30s on Friday. The weekend will continue to be milder and quiet. Snow chances return Sunday night and Monday.
