Rainfall Totals: Thursday 7/4 – Friday 7/5

A slow moving low pressure system moved eastward starting Thursday afternoon and made its way to Michigan by Friday mid-morning. The stagnant advancement of this system allowed for widespread rainfall across regions of central Minnesota and into northern parts of Wisconsin.

The localized heavy rainfall overnight left some counties in brief flood warnings in the early morning hours, these risks have since diminished but rainfall total were upwards of 0.5″ in many places across the Northland.
