Rainfall Totals Tuesday 7/2

The arrival of widespread rain overnight on Monday brought localized heavy rainfall to regions across Northern Minnesota for Tuesday in the early morning. This system moved to the Northeast clearing by the mid-morning with some isolated showers in its wake.

Moderate cloud coverage and dreary conditions will linger through the afternoon and another round of isolated showers and thunderstorms can be expected by the evening. This next pass of rain will bring rainfall to areas across the Iron Range.

The sky will clear afterwards and Wednesday will remain dry, however another active weather pattern will pick back up late Thursday and last into the weekend with more heavy rainfall potential for Friday.
