Sabrina Ullman: Widespread frost with some areas freezing tonight

A Freeze Warning has been issued for Koochiching, St. Louis, Lake, Cook, and Carlton County as well as the northern portion of Itasca County. There is a Frost Advisory for the rest of the Northland, with the exception of the U.P. and Lake of the Woods and Beltrami Counties.
Both the Freeze Warning and the Frost Advisory will be under effect from 1 am to 9 am Monday. Temperatures are expected to be as low as 33 degrees for the Frost Advisory areas and as low as 29 degrees for areas under the Freeze Warning.
After a freezing start to the day, Monday will have afternoon highs in the upper 40s to low 50s. More light rain is likely for areas along the South Shore, especially Iron and Gogebic Counties.
More widespread frost is likely Monday night. The rest of the week will have overnight lows closer to 40 degrees. Afternoon highs will stay close to 50 degrees.
Rain chances return Wednesday night, lasting through the weekend. Thursday and Friday could have widespread rain with decent accumulation.
