Sabrina Ullman: Temperatures stay below freezing this week
Tonight will have a west wind of 10-15 mph and overnight lows mostly in the 20s. Areas east of Hayward will drop to the upper teens as skies clear.
There is a chance of a few on and off light snow showers close to the international border Tuesday morning through Wednesday afternoon. Areas along the South Shore east of the Bayfield Peninsula. Accumulations will be mostly under a quarter of an inch, but portions of the U.P. could see 1-2 inches.
Tuesday will have a blustery northwest wind, cloudy skies, and afternoon highs in the 30s. It will be the warmest day this week with highs going back to the 20s starting Wednesday.
The Storm Track Weather Team is keeping an eye on the potential for widespread snow that would likely enter the region Friday night and bring snow chances through the weekend. In the meantime, this week will have perfect weather for ski hills to make snow.
