Tonight will be mostly cloudy with overnight lows ranging from the upper twenties towards the international border to the low forties towards the Bayfield Peninsula. Patchy fog and low clouds may develop, lasting into the early morning hours.

Our warming trend continues for the next few days. Monday will have afternoon highs close to sixty degrees for most of the Northland. By the time we get to Wednesday, some areas in Pine and Burnett counties will reach the upper seventies.

A cold front will arrive Thursday, bringing a return of rain chances that will last through the weekend.

Between the warm, sunny start to the week and the likelihood for rain on snow at the end of the week, rapid snow melt is possible. River and inland lake levels will increase, which could cause localized flooding. More ponding is expected throughout the week from snow melt runoff.
