Flooding concerns have subsided this morning, but wet weather will linger for our Tuesday. Scattered showers reaching from the Arrowhead to the South Shore will gradually move south of the Northland through the afternoon. We stay 10-15 degrees below normal today with highs in the 50s. High pressure moving in from the north will clear skies this evening and set the stage for a chilly night. A Frost Advisory is in effect across the region for 2 am to 8 am Wednesday. Take steps to protect your plants tonight. Temperatures will fall into low to mid-30s inland with the shorelines of Lake Superior staying closer to 40.
Patchy fog is possible overnight into the Wednesday morning commute. Fog would clear by mid-morning with sunshine taking over. Temps top off in low to mid-60s. Thursday is the warmest in the forecast with low to upper 70s filling out the Northland. A cold front brings scattered showers Thursday night into Friday and knocks highs back into the 60s for the weekend. There’s a low chance for showers Saturday.
