Mild weather continues today with highs ranging from upper 60s to mid-70s. A few sprinkles are possible in north central Minnesota as cloudier skies take over the Northland from the west through the day. An east wind will once again keep shoreline communities in the low to mid-60s and result in a high risk for rip currents. A Beach Hazards Statement is in effect for the Head of Lake Superior until 10 pm.
Tonight will be mild with lows mostly staying in the 50s under partly cloudy skies. Wednesday is mostly sunny with highs reaching mid-70s to low 80s for inland areas. Lakeside areas stay in the 60s yet again. Thursday is another warm day with mid-70s to low 80s. Friday is one last day with widespread 70s before highs fall back into the 60s over the weekend.
Shower and thunderstorm chances for Wednesday night, Thursday, and Friday have trended lower this morning, but the potential is still there as a region. The better chance will be along the international border through the period. Widespread wet weather is still expected beginning Saturday and lasting through Sunday into Monday.
