Just on the western side of the St. Louis River and basking in the bright sunshine all winter long sits Mont du Lac. This ski hill brings plenty of family fun to northern Wisconsin with one main chair lift, eleven different trails and two beautiful lodges perfect for any slope side social.

The community at the hill is very welcoming as the hill is especially accommodating to those with young skiers and families looking to spend some quality time in the outdoors.

Chris LaFleer grew up on the trails of Mont du Lac as it was the perfect place for him and his siblings to learn and explore, “My parents had four kids, the whole reason why they chose to patrol here for so long was because it’s a nice small hill, four kids, easy to take them out and just have everything taken care of”.

Mont du Lac also offers plenty of fun events that are weekly fan favorites from Wing Nights on Thursday to Live Music performances on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday bringing the lively après atmosphere to both the bottom and top chalets each evening.
