Light to moderate rain showers build into the southern half of the Northland tonight into Saturday morning. Isolated thunderstorms may occur late Saturday afternoon and early evening. West winds Saturday shift back to northwesterly Sunday. There is a chance of rain during the late afternoon to evening hours following a day of sun all weekend. This has been the trend the last few weekends. It will likely be on the breezy side this weekend too. These winds could get gusty up to 30 mph out of the WNW. Temperatures below the hill will likely be a few degrees warmer Saturday and Sunday because of the trajectory of the winds.

No rain is expected Sunday or Monday before the next low pressure is expected to shift winds southerly Monday night and bring at least moderate rain showers to the region Tuesday daytime, with non-severe thunderstorms also possible. A warming into the upper-70s to low-80s sets up by mid to late next week with off-and-on shower potential.
