Justin Liles: Another warm weekend
Most of the snow we had fall yesterday near the head of the lake will likely melt this weekend. Sunday will see some sunshine too. Both days will gradually see the winds increasing each day. Since the winds will be more westerly on Sunday temperatures downtown will be warmer than on top of the hill. If the snow doesn’t melt this weekend by Monday it will melt for sure.
Highs are expected to be in the low to mid 50s. Some parts of east central Minnesota and northern Wisconsin may get closer to 60°F. Winds on Monday could gust as high as 40 mph. By Tuesday, an approaching system will bring some rain/snow and temperatures will likely drop nearly 20-30°F. As we head into the end of next week, conditions climb back into the 40s.
