Justin Liles: Beautiful skies but hazy

Cooler by the Lake

Cooler by the Lake

By the looks of things, it appears as if we are going to see a rather dry stretch through at least the first half of the week. An area of high pressure will slowly move east ward. This will really account for three things as it departs. The first will be the persistent haze in the upper levels of the atmosphere. None of this should create any health concerns as it struggles to reach the surface.

The second thing is because of northerly flow dew points will be rather comfortable all week under ample sunshine. The last this is winds will likely be off the lake keeping shoreline communities much cooler than farther inland.

Thursday and Friday will be the next show for seeing some rain. Although light at the moment, locations are not pinned down yet and it appears these will be overnight showers. No severe weather is expected. This weekend look great with warmer temperatures and comfortable humidity.
