Justin Liles: Bitter cold to come to an end
Wind chills will continue to be below zero until about 2-3pm tomorrow afternoon. At this point the winds will turn more to the south and begin to usher in a change in the weather. Temperatures will climb closer to 10° around most of the Northland tomorrow. Areas to the north may stay in the single digits but at least we will see some sunshine.
A weak piece of energy will pass to our south and create a wintry mix early Saturday morning. Temperatures will warm back up into the upper close to 30° or above for all the Northland. Sunday will be warmer than Saturday and we will still be dealing cloudy conditions. Moderate temperatures look to stick around throughout mid next week.
