Justin Liles: Chance of rain showers later this week
We’re starting the week with temperatures well above normal with plenty of sunshine. Clouds will be on the increase this evening and showers may develop by sunrise out west before slowly migrating east by mid-afternoon.
Winds will increase out of the northwest and temperatures will decrease for coldest day of the week on Wednesday with most areas seeing temperatures in the 40s around the region. Winds will pick up through the afternoon hours Wednesday and could gust over 30 mph. Winds will turn over to the south on Thursday and warm to near 60°F again.
Another chance for showers will be Thursday night, with up to a half inch of rainfall possible. The weekend looks ideal with temperatures climbing into the 50s with plenty of sunshine.
