Once again there is a chance for some front around the region this evening. The biggest areas of concern will be all counties that border Lake Superior in northern Wisconsin and the boundary waters canoe area. Some dry weather is expected on Wednesday for much of northwest Wisconsin and in the Arrowhead of Minnesota. Areas further west will see clouds increase through the day. Winds are expected to gust to 15-20 mph in the Arrowhead and around 10-15 mph in northwest Wisconsin.

Rain will spread across the region Wednesday night through Thursday. A wetting rain is expected for most areas with totals around a quarter to half an inch (some locally higher and lower totals are expected). Some thunder is possible at times, but widespread thunderstorms are not expected. There will be more chances of rain through this weekend and into next week. However, rain chances this weekend will sporadic and likely during the overnight and evening hours, with sunshine during the day.
