January 16th: More cold

More cold

It’s hard to believe at this time last year we had a 2ft snowpack. We currently sit at only 6” and we’ve only had 16” total this year. There doesn’t appear to be much more heading our way the rest of the month. We’ll continue to have bitter cold until the weekend. Another Wind Chill Advisory is in play for Lake and Cook County. until 9am Thursday. Wind chills of -20 to -30 are likely again. Light snow will also occur again this evening in the U.P of Michigan.

The good news is there will be slow warming trend, especially late weekend into early next week. The good news is there will be slow warming trend, especially late weekend into early next week.
