More rain on the way

A few sprinkles or isolated showers over northeast Minnesota will taper off this evening. There will be a break in the rain chances this evening into early Thursday morning. Lows tonight are expected to be in the low 30s to mid 40s. Another round of beneficial widespread showers expected Thursday and Thursday evening. Rain amounts between a few hundredths and a half-inch.

A few non-severe storms possible over NW WI Thursday evening. Drier Friday then a chance of showers Saturday. High temps over the next few days will be seasonable for early May.

Patchy fog after 2am. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 38. Breezy, with a northwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming east after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
THURSDAY
Showers. Patchy fog before 9am. High near 48. Breezy, with an east wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
FRIDAY
Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 65. Breezy, with a southwest wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
SATURDAY
A 40 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 59. Breezy, with a west wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
SUNDAY
Sunny, with a high near 65. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
