Justin Liles: Northern Lights tonight, rain this weekend
Clouds moving in tonight may hinder our chance of see the northern lights, but they are still possible. Heading into Friday we are going to start off with a few more clouds and then the skies will break by the afternoon hours. Friday will also be a bit breezy too. The next chance for measurable rain will come Saturday night into Sunday morning. Rain chances over the weekend are more in the 60 to 80 percent range, especially Saturday night and Sunday.
We are also getting to the time of year where some of the cooler areas of northeast Minnesota start seeing a chance for some snow to mix in. The best chance will be Sunday night into Monday. At this time, it would likely only be a few flakes.
