A beautiful Wednesday

Sporadic showers will continue to pop up through the early evening before giving way to clear skies as high pressure builds in the region. This means our Wednesday will start off with plenty of sunshine along with some patchy fog. This area of high pressure bringing us these beautiful skies will sit right over northwest Wisconsin and northeast Minnesota Wednesday.

It will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s away from Lake Superior, with high temperatures in the mid-50s to lower 60s near the lake. Widespread high temperatures in the 70s are forecast across the area on Thursday away from Lake Superior, with southerly winds of 10 to 15 mph. Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are forecast Thursday evening and night with the passage of a weak cold front.

Patchy fog before 7am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 61. Light east wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.
