Justin Liles: Quiet and cool this week

August 5th: Cooler weather this week

Cooler weather this week

Over the weekend, out heat and humidity came to an end with the passing of a cold front that brought in cooler weather. Localized heavy rain south of the Twin Ports in west central Wisconsin could lead to some localized flooding with a slow-moving weather maker. Rain in these areas will likely diminish by later this evening. Skies will eventually begin to clear, and temperatures will drop into the upper 40s to lower 50s. Look for these cooler conditions to hang around all week.

Although we are going to be much quieter there is still the potential for some thunderstorms Wednesday night and Thursday. As we head into the upcoming weekend, everything looks quiet apart from some potential showers on Sunday.
