Justin Liles: Rain turning to light snow tonight
An area of low pressure marching through the upper Midwest will continue to track to the northeast north of the border. We will likely continue to see rain until after midnight and then the moisture wrapping around the low will collide with colder air and turn the rain over into snow. There won’t be a lot of snow but there is a chance we could see some slick spots come Friday morning.
If this does become an issue it will likely be to the north of the Twin Ports. The rest of the weekend will be cooler than our current stretch of weather. We will continue to be above average by 10°-15°F over the next week. Now, it doesn’t appear any rain or snow is coming with the exception of tonight and tomorrow.
