Justin Liles: Storms come to end by morning
Storms are now weakening as we lose the energy of the sun. Everything from golf ball to baseball size hail fell across the Northland. The Iron Range saw plenty of action. This photo we received from Dan Albert show the Mt. Iron high school football field covered with so much hail it looked like snow.
We also had downed trees and power outages you can click here to see if you have any power outages in your area. Showers will linger some into Thursday morning, but it looks like we are going to see plenty of sunshine. Additional scattered showers with isolated non-severe thunderstorms are likely tomorrow, especially in the Arrowhead and Borderlands. Looking ahead to this weekend into early next week, widespread showers and thunderstorms are possible. Strong warm air advection into the region will result in high temps on Sunday bring in the low to mid 80s for most.
