Justin Liles: Showers through the evening and early morning
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to move through the rest of the afternoon and evening into Friday morning. A few of the storms from the Brainerd Lakes to International Falls line this afternoon and evening could become strong with quarter size hail and wind gusts up to 60 mph as the main risks in the strongest storms. Some locally heavier rainfall up to 1.5-2 inches will also be possible in the through the Arrowhead, Twin Ports, and parts of northwest Wisconsin this evening into early Friday morning, but it shouldn`t be widespread.
Little to no additional precipitation expected into and through the weekend, with increasing temperatures into the 80s for most on Saturday and Sunday. Dewpoints will rise through the weekend as well, so minimum relative humidities are only expected to drop to around 45-60% each day Friday through this weekend.
