Justin Liles: Some rain, some fog, and a nice weekend
A day of thick fog will give way to some early evening sun and likely a beautiful sunset. Patchy fog will again develop overnight with more likely along the shoreline of Lake Superior. Isolated rain showers and thunderstorms are possible Friday and Saturday. None of these thunderstorms look severe. Temperatures will rise into the 70s up north to the 80s in east central Minnesota and northern Wisconsin.
Another chance for precipitation arrives Saturday, most widespread Saturday afternoon and early evening. In that timeframe, an isolated severe thunderstorm could be possible. Temperatures all weekend will stay in to upper 60s to low 70s with 80s in northern Wisconsin. Additionally, Saturday will see strong southwest winds 10- 15 mph with some gusts up to 25 mph. We`ll dry out into Sunday. More rain looks to arrive Monday and Tuesday.
