Conditions remain cool today and tomorrow, but the Northland will soon be warming up to the mid-50s and low 60s. Many are waking up below freezing as highs this afternoon will be in the low 30s.  

South Shore lake effect will diminish mid-morning but northern Iron County and the U.P. could see up to two inches of light snow by the early afternoon. Visibility remains low along the South Shore Snowbelt and a winter weather advisory will diminish by 10 AM. Elsewhere, skies are clear this afternoon but there are still some chances for overnight scattered precipitation this week.

Winds will diminish tonight and into Tuesday as high pressure moves through allowing for temperature to drop overnight to the teens and the clear skies will continue into tomorrow afternoon.

Scattered rain and some light snow along the northern border are possible Wednesday night into Thursday, but then as an upper ridge slides in behind dry warm air will follow. Temperatures will really jump up into the upper 50s and mid-60s for the weekend. Starting so see those signs of spring in bloom.
