Lea Zmurko: A sunny start to a new month
The beginning of November will start with some sunshine and dry weather, but clouds will increase tonight. A few showers will pass overnight as light rain, and a few snow showers will arrive northwest of the Iron Range by Saturday morning. Less than a tenth of an inch or rain and less than half an inch of snow is expected to land.
Temperatures will be seasonable in the mid-40s but slowly stretch up into the 50s over the weekend with a few cloudy afternoons ahead of any passing isolated showers.
Rainy weather will continue from Sunday into Tuesday for the Northland, especially in northwest Wisconsin with the greatest chance for heavy rain and some embedded thunderstorms on Monday.
