April 10: A little bit more wet weather

Still damp to start as light rain & snow continue to exit the Northland, but as dry air returns temps will continue to climb for a brighter weekend.

A little more precipitation this morning as light snow and freezing rain accumulates along the North Shore, Arrowhead and Iron Range. Rain will be more apparent further inland and south of the Twin Ports as these areas remain damp a little longer.  Things will dry off later this afternoon and stay quiet through Saturday. Temperatures will continue to climb and the snowpack around the region will continue to dwindle. Fog is possible tonight as dry air returns and winds off the lake will keep places cool along the North Shore.

Another round of rain will also help wash away some snow as an organized low enters the area late Saturday night and will slowly inch its way through for the start of next week. Rain and a few isolated storms will make the grand entrance, but mixed precipitation and light snow will be a part of the finale by early Tuesday morning.
