A chilly morning with northwest winds continuing to bring light flurries and lake effect snow in the morning. Up to an additional 3 inches will fall in Iron County as a Winter Weather Advisory remains in place until 6pm tonight. Conditions will clear mid-day as many see passing clouds and highs in the mid-20s.
A snow system is slated to make its way across Tuesday afternoon and clear by Wednesday morning. As the trek shifts further north, snowfall accumulation may lower many areas will see 1-3 inches, but up at the tip of the Arrowhead snow could increase to 6 inches in some localized areas by Thursday morning.
Temperatures will continue to lower after Wednesday night for the rest of the week, some areas dropping below zero overnight and into the low teens throughout the day. Wind chill will be a big factor by Friday as gusty conditions continue to build.
