Widespread fog across central Minnesota and northern Wisconsin will begin to dissipate by the mid-morning hours. Skies will then remain clear with plenty of sunshine for the afternoon.

 Winds will continue to move in from the southeast this will bring a lake breeze across Lake Superior to the Northshore keeping temperatures near 75 degrees. The east wind component will also increase wave heights and risk of rip currents at the Head of the Lake. Not the most ideal swimming conditions at Park Point and Wisconsin Point, but still a nice day to be outside.

Warm temperatures continue with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s across the Northland. The skies will be hazy as the lingering wildfire smoke continues to clear out by the end of the week.

Isolated showers and storms are likely to pass by Friday night into thew early morning hours on Saturday. Rain chances then continue Saturday afternoon with some showers and a few rumbles possible later. Sunday and early next week looks to be pleasant and dry with a bit more cloud coverage and temperatures back in the high 70s as southerly winds continue to persist.
