Chances for light snow continue in the early morning as several weak systems cross the region. An additional trace to three inches of snow will accumulate over the next few mornings, the heaviest snow will fall along the S. Shore with lake effect precipitation. Clouds will part later on the day as temperatures climb into the mid-20s.

The next widespread system will move in Sunday afternoon with a chance for some light freezing rain and mixed precipitation for some in the beginning before the widespread snow arrives early Monday morning.

Temperatures will exceed 32 degrees as some areas will near 40 degrees by Saturday afternoon and the melting will lead to additional ice accumulation as the temperatures will then suddenly drop back down mid-week.
