Waking up to howling winds and wet weather as the rain showers continue this morning. Wind gusts continue to reach 45 mph across the Arrowhead and portions of northwest Wisconsin with localized heavy rain stretching across the North Shore.

As the low-pressure system continues to move further north precipitation will switch over to snow. Around an inch will fall across the north-central portions of Minnesota with more snowfall accumulating across the Gogebic Range and into the UP.

Temperatures will tumble as the active weather clears and cool, dry air from the north moves in with the westerly winds.
