Lea Zmurko: Sunshine for the start of September
A cool, foggy morning will clear out into ta pleasant Labor Day. Temperatures that start out tint he upper 30s and low 40s will later reach the mid-70s across the Northland. Visibility has dropped down to between a quarter or half of a mile in some hot spots in central Minnesota and northeastern Wisconsin. Others may be waking up between 2-5 miles, overall conditions will clear as the sun rises and diurnal heating burns off the low-lying clouds.
High pressure will remain overhead with southerly winds persisting through Wednesday with dry, breezy and bright conditions dominating. Temperatures will near 80 degrees across some parts of the Northland as warm air advection persists
Rain will move into the region Wednesday Evening and stick around for the end of the week with the passing of a cold front. Temperatures will see a cooling trend for the weekend bringing in some more fall-like conditions.
