Lea Zmurko: The fog frenzy continues
Waking up to a Dense Fog Advisory still in place until noon today for a good majority of Minnesota and Wisconsin. The damp air and dreary skies will leave visibility reduced for many and the wet pavement can result in some slippery stretches as temperatures have started to fall. Be mindful on bridges, untreated surfaces, walkways and other roads.
Cold air will continue to move in this week with a blustery stretch of days as temperatures return to the upper teens and winds from the northwest pick up. Some flurries in land and lake effect snow showers along the South Shore can be expected Tuesday through Friday.
Chilly air will continue into the weekend and windchills will drop well below negative 20 degrees. The next widespread snow system will make its way by the start of next week.
