Brandon Weatherz: Wet week ahead
A wet week begins with scattered showers this morning. Rain chances return to the Northland from the southwest this evening and overnight, then Tuesday and Tuesday night will be wet and windy with heavy rain possibly leading to flash flooding. Severe thunderstorms are also possible, but the risk for hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes increases looking south of the Northland over a target of Iowa, southeast Minnesota, and central and southern Wisconsin. Scattered showers linger Wednesday with light additional accumulation. Thursday is dry, then rain chances come back Friday afternoon.
