Sabrina Ullman: A little warmer today
Temperatures will be a few degrees warmer today than the past few days with highs in the low 20s. It will be less windy, but there will still be enough northwest wind for light lake-effect snow on the South Shore.
Elsewhere, there is a chance of light snow today and tomorrow, bringing under an inch of snow for most of the Northland.
There will be a pattern shift on Tuesday. The low-pressure system that has been over James Bay and caused strong northwest winds and lake-effect snow on the South Shore will move eastward. We will have high pressure over the Northland Monday into Tuesday, but then an Alberta Clipper will bring widespread snow. Accumulations are expected to be 1-3 inches.
